Ealing Cadets/Juniors had a team of 17 who went to Hammersmith on 16th March 2026 to play against 17 of their juniors.
Our players were paired against their Hammersmith opponents according to ECF rating and played the same opponent in two games, firstly with white pieces and then with black pieces. (One point for a win, half for a draw and zero points for a loss.)
In the first round (Ealing playing with white pieces) the score was:
Hammersmith 6½ points v. Ealing 10½ points.
In the second round (Ealing playing with black pieces) the score was:
Hammersmith 7½ points v. Ealing 9½ points.
So, the overall match score was:
Hammersmith 14 points v. Ealing 20 points.
