With the Sports Bar repurposed as a World Cup viewing area for the next few weeks, Ealing Chess Club has relocated to a different part of the Actonians Sports Club estate with a move to the Boddington Gardens facility. It is not yet clear whether the move is short term or permanent.

The playing room affords a good amount of space to accommodate both serious and social games and, while alcoholic refreshment isn’t available, tea and coffee are.

Although the league season has now ended, the summer months will still see plenty of action with the club’s championships now starting. Members wishing to play social chess will of course also be welcome.
